Choosing the Right Door Lever
What type of door handle do I need?
Passage
Best for hallways, bedrooms, closets and pantry doors where no lock is required. Passage handles latch closed but do not lock.
Privacy
Best for bathrooms and bedrooms (if you want a lock on your bedroom door) where a simple lock is needed. Privacy handles include a locking function for everyday privacy.
Dummy
Best for doors that do not latch, such as closet, pantry or wardrobe-style doors. Dummy levers are fixed pull handles and are commonly used where a handle is only needed on one side of the door.
Can dummy handles be used on both sides of a door?
Our dummy kits are designed to fix levers to one side of the door only. They are not intended for installing working handles on both sides of the door. For example, they are suitable for the outside face of a double closet or wardrobe door where you only need a pull handle.

Are the door levers suitable for modern and traditional homes?
Yes. Our levers are designed with simple, balanced forms that work well in both contemporary and classic spaces. The IronClad Series uses a smooth cylindrical stem and softened rectangular grip for a clean architectural look.
Installation & Compatibility
Do your handles come with the required parts?
Each product page includes details on what is included with that item. Please check the product description before ordering, especially when choosing between passage, privacy and dummy options.
Can I replace my existing handles with Duke & Forge handles?
In many cases, yes. However, compatibility depends on your existing door preparation, latch size, bore hole, backset and door thickness. We recommend checking the product specifications before ordering and using a qualified installer if you are unsure.
Are your hinges suitable for interior and exterior doors?
Our door hinge range is made from 304 stainless steel, and the range is suitable for both internal and external applications.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Duke & Forge offers free shipping within the US.
Where do orders ship from?
All orders are packed and shipped from our fulfillment center in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
How can I track my order?
