Duke & Forge began with a simple observation: door hardware, while often overlooked, plays a huge role in how a space looks and feels. Our founder, spent years in the property and facilities industry—managing buildings, overseeing projects, and constantly dealing with hardware that didn’t quite live up to its promises. Too often, he found that products looked good on paper but failed in the real world—cheap finishes, unreliable mechanisms, and a lack of attention to design.

That frustration turned into an idea: what if there was a better way?

Driven by hands-on experience and a passion for well-made things, Andrew launched Duke & Forge to fill a gap in the market.
